32nd Arab Summit kicks off

Jeddah, May 19 (BNA): The thirty-second regular session of the Arab summit opened today in Jeddah under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Algerian Prime Minister Ayman Ben Abdelrahman delivered the opening speech on behalf of the Algerian President. He stressed concern for Arab unity and praised the return of the Syrian Arab Republic to the League of Arab States. He also praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this regard.

After assuming the presidency of the 32nd Arab Summit, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the opening of the summit and welcomed the Arab leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
