Manama, March 4 (BNA): Sunday’s Bundesliga soccer match between Mainz and Borussia Dortmund has become in doubt after Mainz reported 19 cases of coronavirus among players and staff on Thursday.
Mainz said everyone involved in the first-team work has been “fully vaccinated” and has been in touch with local health authorities about what to do next. The club did not mention the names of any injured players.
Team training was canceled Thursday, but players who tested negative trained individually, according to the Associated Press.
