Zoho records 45% business growth in Bahrain amidst rising demand for cloud solutions

Manama, March 1 (BUS): Zoho, the technology company with the largest product portfolio in the industry, has reported 45 percent growth in Bahrain in 2021.


The company increased its channel partner network by 54 percent.


The announcement was made during Zoholics Bahrain’s annual user conference held in Bahrain.


“Zoho’s growth in the region is largely fueled by local companies realizing the power of SaaS applications, as they reap benefits from the digitization of their operations,” said Heather Nizam, President of Zoho Corp., Middle East and Africa.


He added that the breadth and depth of Zoho’s product suite, which includes more than 50 business applications and the integrated Zoho One suite, enables companies to digitize every aspect of their operations, without worrying about data warehouses or integration hassles.

“Our transnational localization vision has helped us expand organically in the region, a strategy in which our company’s growth is rooted in the development of the local business ecosystem and the advancement of society,” he said.


“Aside from increasing our presence on the ground with new offices and hiring local talent, our focus throughout the year has been on meeting regional client needs such as local payment gateway integration, and enabling access to technology through partnerships with government agencies and local business networks.”


In 2021, Zoho partnered with Dubai Culture to help make enterprise technology available to single entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes.


As part of its growth strategy, Zoho is hiring locally, increasing its partner network and collaborating with local organizations to serve local businesses, while making its popular applications globally available and accessible to all.

The company has also invested in skills improvement initiatives, such as partnering with the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management to train first-year BBA students on “The Role of Technology in Business.”


“During the pandemic and its multiple waves, we have seen a rise in the demand for the customer experience platform, low code platform and business intelligence offerings as it has become beneficial for any business to remain operational and react to rapidly changing market demands,” said Ali Shabdar, Regional Director, Middle East and Africa, Zoho. corp.

He added that the availability of Arabic language support from RTL in its main applications such as CRM, Books and Creator and other features such as ease of use and reasonable prices helped increase the adoption of our solutions in the region.


In 2021, Zoho grew 52 percent in the Middle East and Africa region, the company’s second largest growth region. It has grown its partner network by 55 percent and has tripled its workforce in the region. The company also established its presence in seven countries, and established new offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and South Africa.

In 2022, Zoho plans to open offices in Kenya, Nigeria and three other countries. It also plans to continue hiring locally in other countries to serve its clients, as it expands its footprints across the region.
