Youth Affairs Minister visits Whisper of Hope Festival’s art exhibition

Manama, April 24 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Al-Tawfiqi visited the art exhibition, which was held on the sidelines of the activities of the eighth session of the Hamsa Amal Festival, which is being organized. From the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society in Seef Mall, Muharraq.

During his tour of the exhibition, in which 48 artists display 70 plastic arts and five sculptural works, the minister was briefed on their paintings and what they symbolize.

And she praised the tremendous efforts made by the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society to organize events and programs aimed at spreading health awareness in society, and strengthening community partnership with various sectors, as well as with government and private institutions for the sake of health. To reach the goals of the association in caring for sickle cell patients, praising the wide participation of Bahraini artists in the exhibition through their distinguished paintings.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society, Zakaria Al-Kadhim, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the minister for her visit, appreciating her keenness to support the goals of the association.
