Manama, May 9 (BNA): Chairman of the National Council for the Arts, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received here today the Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Shaaban.
The President of the National Council for the Arts stressed the depth of the strong Bahraini-Egyptian relations and cooperation in various fields.
He also discussed with the envoy ways to enhance bilateral cooperation through the exchange of expertise and technical expertise.
Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa stressed the importance of holding art exhibitions, workshops and exchanging visits that would enhance the artistic fields.
He pointed out that the National Arts Council always seeks to encourage interest in all kinds of art, highlight artistic talents and motivate creators, indicating that the Kingdom is an ideal destination for hosting art exhibitions and events, as it is proud of all the requirements for its success. .
He praised the warm welcome he received during his recent visit to Egypt, where he discussed with the concerned authorities mechanisms for exchanging experiences, in addition to ways to enhance bilateral technical cooperation.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the head of the National Arts Council, expressing his deepest pride in his country’s relations with Bahrain, praising the vast achievements Bahrain has achieved.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening artistic cooperation between the two countries, expressing his admiration for the creativity of Bahraini artists, the diversity of ideas, and the aesthetic artistic taste.
