Volvo Cars delays production of Volvo EX90

Copenhagen, May 11 (BNA): Sweden-based Volvo Cars said it is delaying production of the Volvo EX90 model for further software development and testing.

It said in a statement that it now expects to start production in the first half of 2024.

Volvo Cars, majority owned by China’s Geely Corporation (0175.HK), unveiled the Volvo EX90, an all-electric SUV, at the end of last year.

The company previously said that it will begin production of the EX90 at the end of 2023.
