Tashkent, April 27 (BNA): Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
The Uzbek President congratulated Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim on his re-appointment as President of the Asian Football Confederation for a third term, praising his efforts in developing Asian football.
Sheikh Salman thanked Uzbekistan for its contribution to Asian football and hosting regional tournaments. He confirmed his continued support for the Football Federation of Uzbekistan.
Sheikh Salman presented the plans and programs of the Asian Football Confederation, which aim to improve the game in various Asian countries and strengthen partnership with national football federations.
