New York, March 10 (BNA): Wall Street’s major stock indices closed lower by the end of Thursday’s trading.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed the trading session down 543.54 points, or 1.7%, to reach 32,254.86 points.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell 73.69 points, or 1.8 percent, to 3,918.32 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index of technology shares lost 237.65 points, or 2.1 5%, to reach 11338.35 points.
