Manama, September 16 (BNA) The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Riyadh Yousef Hamza, received today at the university’s headquarters in Sakhir, the South Korean ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hye Kwan Chung.
He was received by Dr. Hamza and his accompanying delegation, and they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in educating and training students. He also reviewed with the South Korean ambassador the necessary preparations to renew the memorandum of understanding between the UoB and the South Korean embassy to continue the work of the King Sejong Institute for Korean Language Teaching at the university.
It is noteworthy that the University of Bahrain opened the institute in October 2017, after signing a memorandum of understanding with the South Korean Embassy in June 2017.
