Manama, April 20 (BNA) The Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, announced that the jury for the use of information and communication technology in education has reviewed the nominations. Submitted by countries and organizations for the UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize in its 2021 session.
The meetings reviewed 111 nominations submitted by 58 UNESCO Member States and eight NGOs.
The Ministry and UNESCO will award the four winning countries during the past two years and the two winning countries in the current year, after the ceremony was postponed due to the Covid pandemic.
