Kiev, May 5 (BNA): First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yulia Sverdenko received Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani in Kiev on the occasion of his official visit to Ukraine. .
The Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Dr. Al-Zayani, praising joint cooperation and mutual keenness to enhance it. It praised the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain calling for an end to the war in Ukraine, praising the Kingdom’s humanitarian support.
The foreign minister expressed his pleasure at visiting Ukraine, praising the growing bilateral cooperation in various fields. He renewed Bahrain’s keenness to end the war in Ukraine peacefully through direct negotiations to enhance peace, security and stability in the European continent and the world at large.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, reviewed developments in Ukraine and the region, and issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Germany Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Talal Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, and Ambassador of Ukraine to Bahrain residing in Abu Dhabi Dmytro Senek.
