Job description and summary
The Travel Support team sits within the Operations team and is responsible for the implementation/management of travel activities.

The Travel Support team is responsible for preparing, monitoring and continually improving the company’s transportation operations, with a primary focus on daily hotel reservations for transit travelers and project travelers.

Travel Support manages all day-to-day activities related to visa requirements and hotel reservations.

Financial issues
Supports day-to-day activities against travel expenses and travel approval principles, ensuring accurate reflection within the travel management system for all employees
Leads and supports a culture of long-term savings in travel costs
– Tracking and reporting of all savings made within the hotel’s travel team
Works with Travel Operations and Purchasing Leads to increase cost efficiency in operations
Ensures payments are made for all hotel reservations in accordance with the company’s travel requirements and accurate invoices to PwC legal entities

Client
Responsible for the daily booking and delivery of hotel and visa activities including online and offline, out-of-policy reservations and approvals
Provides first-level response on hotel inquiries and escalates complex requests to the Travel Operations Leader
Monitors the provision of external services by vendors and brings service issues to the Travel Operations Command as required
Completes reviews and audit ratings displayed in the company’s online reservation system (KDS) and highlights errors or anomalies to the Travel Operations Leader as appropriate
Flexible to accommodate peak travel times, such as the busy season and induction travel times for graduates
