Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi stressed the need to support tourism projects and activities, stressing their importance as major contributors to urban and economic growth.
She was speaking during a field tour of a number of tourism projects being implemented by Naseej on the island of Dilmunia (Canal View and Mall of Dilmunia). They discussed issues and initiatives of common interest to explore common opportunities and partnership with the private sector, according to the tourism strategy 2022-2026.
The minister also inspected the company’s projects in Salman City to see its development on the waterfront. She listened to a detailed briefing by Amin Al-Areedh, CEO of Naseej, stressing the ministry’s keenness to improve tourism services and strengthen partnership with the private sector.
