Manama, March 1 (BNA): Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Serafi, met today with the Chairman of Airports Council International (ACI) and CEO of Oman Airports, Sheikh Ayman. Bin Ahmed Al-Hasani.
The meeting was held on the occasion of Bahrain Airport Company hosting the 77th meeting of the Airports Council International on March 3-5.
The meeting was also attended by the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Dr. Nasser Ali Qaidi, the CEO of Bahrain Airports Company, Mohammed Yousef Al-Binfalah, Luis Felipe, Director of ACI, and Stefano Baronchi, Director General of ACI Asia and the Pacific.
Al-Serafi welcomed the participants in the 67th meeting of the Airports Council International, stressing Bahrain’s success in hosting this event, which reflects its position as a major destination for specialized international conferences and exhibitions.
She pointed to the active presence of the Kingdom. In international institutions and organizations concerned with organizing and developing the travel and tourism industry in the region and the world
She affirmed the readiness of the ministry and the authority to activate cooperation with the Airports Council International in the framework of linking the tourism and air transport sectors.
She stressed the importance of exchanging international knowledge and expertise in various fields such as environmental and economic sustainability.
