The National Coronavirus (COVID-19) Medical Task Force has highlighted the importance and effectiveness of taking a COVID-19 booster dose based on national medical studies and statistics.

The task force explained that from July 1 to October 1, 2021, of those who contracted COVID-19, 52% were among those who did not take a booster dose. Only 3% were among those who received a booster dose. So it is clear that booster injections increase immunity.

The task force also noted that the booster vaccine is effective in relieving symptoms.

The task force confirmed that booster injections for all vaccines are available in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Eligible individuals are urged to register for a booster dose by visiting the Ministry of Health website healthalert.gov.bh Or through the BeAware app.
