Manama, May 25 (BNA) The Standing Committee of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival held an almost extraordinary meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the Undersecretary for Media Affairs, Dr. Abdul Rahman Bahr.
The committee discussed setting the new date for hosting the fifteenth Gulf Radio and Television Festival, after it was postponed following the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The festival will be held from June 21 to 23, as a new date for organizing the Gulf Radio and Television Festival, which will be hosted by Bahrain.
The meeting discussed a number of procedural and organizational issues related to the festival, including seminars and an exhibition of radio and television production.
Dr. Bahr stressed that the ministry, under the directives of the Minister of Information, Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi, is putting all its capabilities to shed light on this event, which the Kingdom is proud to host, and to work on its continuation as a link that embodies the close media cooperation between the GCC states in its various sectors.
