The CPISP assesses 1254 applicants

Manama, April 25 (BNA) The Crown Prince International Scholarship Program (CPISP) has begun the process of evaluating 1,254 scholarship applicants from public and private schools and Bahrainis studying abroad.

The program collaborated with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) to assess the candidates’ English language and critical thinking skills.

Shatha Ahmed Ali, CPISP’s Director of Finance and Administration, noted that the assessment included a computer-based test of English language proficiency, as well as three critical reasoning tests to assess verbal, numerical, and schematic reasoning. For applicants currently studying outside Bahrain, the program has arranged for applicants to take exams under supervised conditions at a suitable location.

The director explained that the next step would be to select at least 60 candidates based on qualifying test scores and grade point averages.

Candidates will then undergo various training and preparatory courses for the standardized test throughout the summer and the following academic year until the ten final recipients are selected in April 2023.
