Tesla recalls ‘Full Self-Driving’ to fix unsafe actions

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (BNA): US safety regulators have pressured Tesla to recall nearly 363,000 “fully self-driving” cars because they can misbehave around intersections and don’t always follow speed limits.

The recall, part of a larger National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation into Tesla’s automated driving systems, is the most serious action yet taken against the electric car maker, according to the Associated Press.

The recall announced Thursday covers certain 2016-2023 Model S and Model X vehicles, as well as 2017-2013 Model 3s, and 2020-2023 Model Y vehicles that are equipped with the software, or awaiting installation.
