Tawfiqi: Youth most valuable GCC resource

Manama, June 7 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Al-Tawfiqi participated in a youth discussion organized by the ministry on the sidelines of its celebration of the Gulf Youth Day.

During the session, the minister and youth from the GCC countries discussed ideas and proposals related to the future of Gulf youth work, developing opportunities, advancing joint Gulf efforts in the youth sector, and youth intellectual interests and their future aspirations.

Al-Tawfiqi said that as we celebrate the Gulf Youth Day, we remember the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the vision of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to support and empower youth so that they can contribute to the development of their countries. .

Minister Tawfiqi affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for the joint Gulf efforts to support the youth sector, stressing its belief in the capabilities of Bahraini and Gulf youth in shaping the future of the region.

She said that Bahrain is committed to ensuring that youth policies and strategies promote the intellectual, cultural, scientific and technological advancement of young people, as well as support their initiatives and innovations.

The minister added that youth are the most valuable resource in the GCC countries, noting the importance of their role in development efforts.

She said that those who stick to their identity and values ​​and believe in their abilities, will write inspiring success stories.
