Sunni Endowments Directorate signs MoU to build new mosque in Salman City

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): In implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to launch a plan to develop places of worship throughout Bahrain and to open and restore 20 mosques belonging to them. To the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Directorates, and to take the necessary measures to build 12 mosques in the city of Salman, the Sunni Endowments Directorate signed a memorandum of understanding to build a new mosque in the city of Salman.

The memorandum was signed by the head of the Sunni Endowments Council, Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Fetais Al-Hajri, and Fawzi bin Ahmed bin Ali Kano, who donated the construction of the new mosque, in addition to two event halls and commercial outlets. The signing took place in the presence of members of the Sunni Endowment Council and the Director of the Sunni Endowment, Youssef Ahmed Nour.
