Manama, May 16 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musalla received heads of council delegations and members of Parliament participating in the meeting of the Economic Affairs and Sustainable Development Committee of the Asian Parliament, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed the importance of strengthening Asian parliamentary cooperation, especially in the investment economics sector.
Al-Musalla pointed out that Bahrain is taking pioneering steps under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He praised the role of APA parliaments in supporting the implementation of sustainable development goals, environmental issues and the Asian Climate Finance Initiative.
