Speaker praises rapid implementation of housing projects

Manama, Dec. 28 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the rapid implementation of various development and housing projects across the Kingdom, thanks to the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the exerted efforts. The government is led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He praised the efforts of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in meeting the housing needs of Bahraini families, stressing the unwavering parliamentary support for plans to develop the housing sector.

He was speaking during today’s meeting with the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amina bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Hisham Al-Ashiri, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee, a member of the Services Committee, Muhammad Al-Alewi and Muhammad Al-Husseini, and members of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee, Khaled Bo Onq, from the House of Representatives. The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Undersecretary of the Ministry, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, Eng. Ahmed Al-Khayyat, Assistant Undersecretary for Housing Projects, Eng. Balsam Al-Salman and Director of the Construction and Maintenance of Housing Projects Eng. Muhammad Rashdan.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to meet the housing needs of citizens and implement the royal directives. His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister ordered Bahrainis to ensure that Bahrainis benefit from housing services without delay.
