Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam sent a telegram of condolences to the Speaker of the Syrian Parliament, Hammouda Sabbagh, and the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Mustafa Shantop, over the earthquake that struck the Syrian and Turkish regions.
Al-Muslim expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, asking God Almighty to shower him with the abundance of his mercy. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The Speaker of Parliament sent similar cables to the Syrian ambassador to Bahrain, Muhammad Ali Ibrahim, and the Turkish ambassador to Bahrain, Esen Chakel.
