Manama, January 19 / BNA / The Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met today, through his virtual council, citizens from different parts of the governorate, in the presence of senior officials and officers.
His Highness the Southern Emir welcomed the attendees, stressing the partnership and joint coordination with government institutions to meet the needs of citizens and achieve their aspirations, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness the Emir. Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness the Southern Governor indicated the governorate’s keenness to adopt programs to enhance preventive measures throughout the governorate, and to enhance awareness of public safety, in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He affirmed his determination to continue following up on development plans and projects aimed at improving services.
His Highness the Southern Governor stressed that the ongoing virtual meetings with the citizens of the Southern Governorate via electronic platforms reflect the original approach of the Southern Governorate in reaching citizens and meeting their needs.
The attendees thanked His Highness, the Emir of the South, for his continuous communication with citizens and his security, social and development follow-up.
