As a Director/Senior Manager, you will build valuable relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of projects by focusing on high-value opportunities. You will lead presentations and proposals for complex projects or highly complex project elements and will provide insight into the topic of bids and proposals. Drawing on your skills and experience, you will create innovative business insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to suit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.
Your main responsibilities
As a forensic team manager/senior manager, you are required to lead and grow the team and provide strategic sourcing services related to regulatory compliance, corporate governance, fraud risk assessments, enterprise risk management, and internal controls to our clients. You are also required to assist organizations in maintaining effective and efficient controls, in order to manage organizational and strategic risks.
You will be responsible for managing multiple customer engagement teams at the executive level within the practice and the company. You can expect to work with high-level client staff to address compliance, financial and operational risks as well as conduct internal control testing, develop internal audit plans and provide internal audit services on an outsourcing basis. You will assess the internal controls of the current client state and SOX framework in order to mitigate risks.
Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and participate in the implementation of procedures that focus specifically on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. You are required to work with the team and client to develop plans to achieve engagement objectives and a strategy that aligns with professional standards and advise clients to understand and manage their business risks and validate their business information.
Brief the engagement team on the client’s internal audit environment and internal audit trends in the industry. Maintain relationships with client management to manage service expectations, including work products, timing, and deliverables. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of compliance, financial and operational risks along with conducting internal control testing, developing internal audit plans, and providing internal audit services on an outsourcing basis. Evaluate internal controls and the SOX framework in order to mitigate risks and apply them to client situations
To qualify for this role, you must have
Minimum of 10 years of experience in forensic medicine along with background in internal and external audit, risk and compliance advisory and risk assessment with a consulting firm.
– Extensive industry experience and network, with consistent experience with top-tier consulting firm
Lead a team of professionals to bring together diverse experiences across borders and local knowledge across a wide range of industries
Work effectively as a member of a global network of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
Strong understanding of the expectations of regulators and international organizations such as the Financial Action Task Force.
Ideally, you will also have
Work experience in the Middle East and North Africa region
Previous experience in a consulting firm
– Fluency in Arabic communication skills
