As part of the team, you will research financial risks, provide forecast analysis, and develop financial models that assist our team in providing fair and accurate valuation advice and ultimately help our clients enhance the value of their deals.
About the role:
As part of a leading global valuation practice with more than 2,000 dedicated valuation professionals in 50 countries, we have the right people to support clients for various types of valuation related work. Our Middle East assessment team works on a regional basis but with team members located in each region who understand the dynamics of the local market.
Within the practice, the ME assessment team represents a group of over 20 professionals, working across different industry sectors as needed. We also work collaboratively with members of the regional assessment team and provide support for large and complex regional assessments. You can work remotely with your colleagues anywhere in the region.
You will enjoy the potential for rapid personal development in a dynamic team by playing an important role in the practice of local and regional assessments. From the start, you will be exposed to a variety of challenging valuation work across industry sectors including valuations of company stock and/or financial instruments and valuation of intangible assets. Interaction with senior colleagues and senior clients will also provide plenty of opportunities for candidates to build business development and marketing skills.
you will:
Assist partners/managers in carrying out evaluation engagements
Manage teams, projects and clients on a daily basis
Provide support to junior team members (senior associate/associate) in guiding and reviewing their work outputs
Presenting evaluation results internally and externally to clients
– Build a peer-to-peer network internally inside and outside PwC
Assist partners/managers in developing external and internal business
Training junior staff on a combination of technical assessment skills, industry knowledge and soft skills.
Assist and participate in various internal initiatives to assist partners/managers in delivering those initiatives – (eg digitization, industry specialization, value creation, etc.)
Basic skills and experience
We are looking for a Senior Manager with a proven track record and who meets the following criteria:
Experience in conducting evaluations for various purposes mainly in technology, media and communications (financial reports, disputes, etc.)
Minimum 7 years of prior commercial experience in client-facing valuation ideally in four large companies with sound and in-depth technical and business knowledge of valuation concepts
Direct involvement in the delivery and management of evaluation engagements is a key requirement to apply for this position
Academic background and competency:
An ACA, CFA or ACCA certificate and/or a Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
Hands-on experience in financial modeling with proficiency in MS Excel
– Experience with PowerBi, Tableau would be a plus
