Job purpose:
Supervising, executing and reporting civil and structural works to ensure on time, in budget delivery of projects to meet/exceed client expectations.
Major Accounting
Reviewing and approving design drawings, specifications and method data.
Conduct daily on-site inspections to ensure strict implementation of design and quality standards.
Responsible for checking incoming materials to ensure high quality materials as approved.
– Initiate site surveys for facilities in order to recommend improvements/renovations and submit a quotation for client approval
Support utility services and other departments for civil and structural solutions.
Ensure that capital expenditure projects are completed within the approved budget for civil and structural works.
Prepare structural design for contractors and subcontractors as per client requirements in order to ensure clarity of all parties on project deliverables.
Preparing the implementation and implementation program by supervising the project to ensure that the contractor and subcontractors meet the project outputs.
Coordinate and liaise with authorities, clients and consultants to obtain approvals.
– Apply health, safety and environment regulations and work accordingly in the event of any violation such as non-conformity with specifications.
Responsible for delivering the project once completed to the required standards.
– Reviewing and approving the built drawings.
Evaluations of consultants, contractors and subcontractors to determine acceptable standards.
Pre-qualification assessment of new consultants and subcontractors to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements in terms of quality, expertise and delivery
– Perform other duties assigned by the line manager
Education/Qualification
Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering. HSE certification is an advantage
work experience
At least 15 years of experience in a senior position, 5 of which are in the UAE, ideally in a contracting or development company.
Knowledge
Structural design, project implementation, quality control. HSE etc.

Excellent project management skills, planning and organization skills, proficiency in job related software/applications such as Auto CAD, MS project and MS Office
