Opening in mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will consist of a 345-room hotel, along with an 11,000 square meter rental market, a beach club, a theme park, and a water park. The resort will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Set to make its debut ahead of the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform to showcase Qatar as a tourist destination. One of the country’s biggest attractions will be the water park on Qetaifan Island North, the Icon Tower, the tallest tower of its kind in the world, reaching 82 meters in height.

Security Manager – Hotel Operations

This position is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for hotel staff and guests and for protecting hotel assets. The Security Manager assists management, employees and guests in every way consistent with the objectives of protection and prevention.

What will you do:

Training security officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrols, and first aid procedures
– Dissemination of all information by management to team members
Conduct periodic patrols and checks on all security officers to ensure that they are vigilant and perform their duties efficiently and effectively
Conduct all criminal investigations, prepare accompanying investigation papers, and report cases that occur inside the hotel
Conduct monitoring of hotel staff to ensure their compliance with house rules; Keep tabs on the movements of employees classified as suspects under investigation
Monitor and direct the movement of all emergency personnel in response to fire, bomb threat, police assistance, injury or illness
– Inspect all security equipment to ensure that it is working properly and that all cameras are properly focused
Perform daily routine checks of the following items to ensure they are properly maintained.
Refining whistleblowers with the intention of obtaining information of security importance that may be of immediate or future benefit to management for prevention and detection purposes
– Record all activities in which management participates in the daily security report
Providing security coverage for VIP guests
– Continuously informing the security manager of all matters of security importance that affect the hotel and management
Always be on call, including during off-duty hours, for any emergency that may arise

Your experience and skills include:

At least 2 years of experience as a security manager in Qatar
Graduated in any discipline and security training certificate
Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management, and Basic Firefighting
– Fluency in reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
