SCYS Secretary-General highlights Bahraini youth sector’s achievements

Manama, August 11 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, affirmed that the celebration of International Youth Day provides a good opportunity to shed light on the great achievements. The youth sector in the Kingdom during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

These achievements are the outcome of His Majesty’s directives to empower Bahraini youth, and the result of the unwavering support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for programs that engage Bahraini youth in the Kingdom’s comprehensive march. development process, he said.

In a statement on the occasion of the International Youth Day, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim stressed that the Kingdom has made great strides in empowering young people and enhancing their vital roles in the modern state.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, praised his forward-looking vision and keenness to pave the way for Bahraini youth. Carrying out their national duties to the fullest, by giving them full confidence to assume leadership positions in the public and private sectors and giving them the opportunity to innovate and spread the spirit of creativity and unlimited giving.

He pointed out that Bahrain is a pioneer in involving its youth in international efforts aimed at strengthening solidarity among youth around the world.
