about the role
PricewaterhouseCoopers opens a new Technology and Innovation Center in Cairo that will provide high-quality technology solutions to consulting clients worldwide. The center will provide a wide range of skills and services to our clients, from bundled applications such as SAP and Oracle, to cloud services that use AWS, Azure, and Google, as well as extending our existing managed services capabilities.
The center is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic start-ups with a passion for technology and customer delivery to help shape and shape this new venture.
We are seeking to hire a SAP Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in scoping, design and supervision of the delivery of landscape and technology solutions focused on SAP (ECC and S/4HANA). They will be recognized experts in their field within the local SAP market; Provide thought and opinion leadership. They will carry a well-established professional network, and have strong alliances in the SAP ecosystem.
You will report to the SAP Service Delivery Manager and will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those providing customer conversion programs across PwC’s global network, including the UK, Germany and the Middle East.
As a Technical Solutions Architect at SAP, you will play a key role in the following areas:
Support leadership and management of the new SAP practice by taking an active role in the SAP senior leadership team
Responsible for training and developing more junior team members
Deliver exceptional customer service and complex technology solutions focused on SAP
Working with a global mindset. Fully integrated with teams based in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries
Lead delivery teams to deliver solutions in scope, time, quality and budget
Role requirements:
Expert knowledge of ABAP, Fiori, Basis and Cloud platforms
Expert knowledge of ALE/Web Service/API and other forms of integration
Generate definition of solution scenarios and evaluate solution scenarios (SAP Cloud vs. On-premises, Greenfield vs. Brownfield, etc.)
Create a definition of the target architecture (processes, systems, integration)
Create logical, physical, and diffusion architectures
– Setup and maintain project support tools (eg SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, etc.)
Create and maintain all documentation related to architecture
Responsible for tool selection and technology evaluation
