Royal Guard team climbs Ama Dablam Mountain in Nepal

Kathmandu, May 9 (BNA) A team of the Royal Guards of the Bahrain Defense Force has succeeded in climbing Mount Ama Dablam in Nepal.

After six months of intense training and preparation, the expedition of the Royal Guard climbed the mountain on May 5, 12:53, and returned safely to their camp in Kathmandu, before returning to the kingdom.

On this occasion, the National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa confirmed that the members of the Royal Guard team provided the best examples in overcoming challenges, noting their determination to achieve honorable achievements.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the distinguished capabilities of the Royal Guard, which enabled them to face various challenges efficiently and professionally.

This exploit adds to the Royal Guard’s rich record of honorable accomplishments, including their success in reaching the summit of Mount Everest in Nepal, the world’s highest peak to Mount Everest.
