Return of second group of Bahraini citizens residing in Türkiye


Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Ankara has facilitated the procedures for the return of the second group of Bahraini citizens from the cities of Urfa and Hatay to the Kingdom, within the framework of facilitating the procedures for Bahraini citizens wishing to return. Returning to their homeland after the earthquake in southern Turkey.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Turkey, Dr. Ibrahim Yousef Al-Abdullah, valued the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to provide urgent humanitarian aid. Relief aid for the victims of the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, and Bahraini citizens abroad.

He praised the distinguished humanitarian efforts made by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation under the leadership of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The ambassador affirmed the embassy’s keenness to facilitate all procedures and overcome difficulties to secure the return of Bahraini citizens.

He expressed his appreciation to all concerned official authorities in the Kingdom and Turkey for their continuous cooperation and communication with the embassy to secure the safe return of citizens to Bahrain.
