Real’s Kroos, Vinicius available for Champions League trip to Chelsea

Spain, April 16 (BNA): Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos and winger Vinicius Junior will be ready for their Champions League trip to Chelsea next week after missing Saturday’s 2-0 LaLiga win over Cadiz.

Former Germany international Kroos and Brazil’s Vinicius Junior, arguably Real’s most influential player this season, was left out of the match against lowly Cadiz in order to recover from a calf muscle strain.

“They couldn’t play today because they both had little problems,” Ancelotti told reporters on Saturday.

“They trained separately today but tomorrow they will train as usual and they will be fine on Tuesday.”

Real is scheduled to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, after beating the London club 2-0 in the first leg at home earlier this week.

Real Madrid ranks second in the league with 62 points, 10 points behind leaders Barcelona, who have a postponed match.
