Manama, April 5 (BNA) A phone call was made today between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida.
During the phone call, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and HE Kishida reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. His Royal Highness expressed his thanks for the cooperation of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency with the Kingdom of Bahrain to launch the Bahraini-Emirati satellite Light-1, in February 2022.
His Highness and HE Kishida also reviewed regional and international issues of common interest, including the situation in Ukraine. His Royal Highness and HE Kishida emphasized the importance of diplomatic solutions to find peaceful solutions to the conflict.
Kishida also expressed his congratulations to His Royal Highness on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and wished the people of Bahrain further progress, development and prosperity.
