Our latest opportunity is for a talented quantity surveyor to join our award winning team based in Doha, Qatar

This position is responsible for implementing cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in construction contracts. Other responsibilities will include; Measure and evaluate client variations in construction work and contractor claims for changes, evaluate contractor monthly interim payment requests, identify areas of interest and assess their potential impact on the project budget.

responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

Executing commercial/contractual matters within a multidisciplinary team.
Analyze project changes and changes, prepare project reports, and analyze information to make adjustments to the project budget as necessary to ensure a successful project for the client and company.
Measurement of works on site and from graphics including proficiency with electronic measurement systems.
– Analysis and interpretation of the terms of the contract.
Understand, identify and evaluate project risks.
Effective communication using oral and written communication.
Strong knowledge of the standard method of measuring construction work.

qualifications

To succeed in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 14 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or an engineering field focused on construction.
The legal status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors will be viewed positively.
