Develop, implement and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications (in compliance with applicable standards, customer specifications and production objectives). Supervising a team of quality control inspectors. Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate customer issues and complaints related to quality. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to create quality and reliability forecasts for end products. Coordinate goals with production procedures in collaboration with other plant managers to increase product reliability and reduce costs.

Duties and Responsibilities: (not listed in any particular order)

Knowledge and understanding of the Corporate Excellence Program and Quality Policy and compliance with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, operating and technical procedures and workplace instructions.
Participate in setting quality specifications and standards for raw materials in manufacturing and finished products.
Consult with management, customers and other representatives in planning, scheduling and coordinating quality plans in accordance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and production schedules.
Assist in the development of inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, or process control procedures that will ensure the production of final products that meet quality specifications and standards.
All safety rules and company policies must be understood and complied with.
Execution of work assignments at the highest level of quality.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Assist in the investigation of product defects and failures and recommend modification in products, processes or quality standards where this appears to be warranted.
Supervising and conducting inspections and testing of raw materials, processes and finished products.
Visit customers and suppliers, when necessary, to consult on identified quality issues. Liaise with customers about elements of product quality or reliability.
Train other inspectors on operations as needed.
Implementation of the company’s quality, health, safety and environment policy and management systems.
Understand and comply with all Weatherford safety rules and company policies.
Execution of work assignments at the highest level of quality.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Minimum 10 years in quality control, manufacturing and inspection.
Experience with ISO9001 standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of inspections.
Ability to calculate numbers and sums such as ratios, percentages, area, perimeter, volume and ability to read common gauges; Tapes, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Working knowledge of metal fabrication and fabrication technology
