The Philippine Teachers Association-Bahrain (PTA-B) concluded its first academic gathering entitled “Diversity, Creativity and Sustainability: Teaching and Learning in the New Normal” which was attended by teachers, practitioners and researchers in Bahrain and a virtual exhibition session with teachers from the Philippines.

PTA-B Chair Dr. Arthur Paspas said the topics related to the diverse research disciplines covered at the conference reflected good practice during the new normal.

“With such high profile paper exhibitors, speakers and panelists, the association has proven itself worthwhile,” he said.

The Education Conference concluded research areas in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, general education, leadership, educational administration, business, humanities, social sciences, communications, health, environment and Islamic banking.

Organizers said the paper presentations really made the event an exciting moment for educators who collaborated and actively participated in professional learning communities despite the challenges brought by the pandemic.

The event will foster professional confidence that provides a broad gateway to opportunities, innovative ideas and inspiring results.

“With a strong and ambitious goal of quality teaching and learning, PTA-B seeks to continue its mission of providing support to all teachers in furthering their professional development.”
