Position Title: Project Manager – External Projects

Job Summary and Purpose:
Responsible for single or multiple EPC outdoor fabrication projects covering pile jackets and accessories, topides (wellheads/unit quarters) and subsea structures (boats, risers/bumper guards, clamps, etc.). The role requires the Project Manager to individually manage each stage of the project from bidding and post-award activities to project completion with relevant clients and stakeholders (internal and external)

Major accounts
• Implement the assigned daily process for the assigned project to ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures and client requirements.
• Responsible for project start-up, handling of total project requirements, managing time, budget, scope, suppliers and procurement and submitting related construction proposal/reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Effective management of the project team including staff from functional departments and ensuring effective communication always.
• Responsible for monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining high health and safety standards and cost effectiveness. Ensure that programs are lined up at the forefront on a daily basis. Develop contingency plans in advance in the event that items on the critical path are delayed.
• Arrange project meetings, internal and external as necessary to ensure effective monitoring of KPIs.
• Effective management of all internal and external project interface with all relevant stakeholders.
• Closely track project cost in all aspects to ensure that the project is within budget at all times and report in a timely manner to direct report.
• Motivate the site-based project team to deliver the project in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
• Ensure timely review and error-free reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure that all project/contract deliverables including final documents are properly submitted to the client in a timely manner. Ensure that complete project documents are maintained, updated and properly stored.
• Ensure that project closure reports are maintained which includes project evaluation, results assessment and lessons learned.
• Promote a culture of engaging in safe and productive work through modeling company values.
• Build and maintain a stimulating and challenging environment by taking a professional approach to interactions, using effective communications, and providing training and encouragement to others to help them achieve their maximum potential
• Actively participate in company safety meetings.
• Conduct and direct the project quality, health, safety and environment awareness program.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environment management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed to contribute to the continuous operation of the department

Eligible
• BE Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Marine Manufacturing (eg, Jacket, Topside, Boat Landing, etc.).
• Basic experience in project management is essential and a PMP qualification is preferred.
• Experience working with multinational and multicultural project teams highly preferred
• Strong commitment to health, safety and the environment and a strong commercial awareness.
• Able to handle multiple projects and handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

expertise
• Experience of not less than 05 years in a related position.

Technical competencies
• Ability to use project management techniques
• The ability to focus more on contractual objectives
• Previous management experience with good technical competence
• Sound knowledge of offshore structures manufacturing and loading methodology in project management capacity
• Good knowledge & experience in budget planning, client management, contract management, maintaining a strong HSEQ target on the project
