A growing technology startup that aims to build the digital credit infrastructure for the Saudi digital economy has completed its initial fundraising process and is looking to appoint a Director for People and Culture to support their growth.
your responsibilities
• Build and prepare reports on quarterly and annual recruitment plans, create and publish job advertisements in different portals
• Collaborate with other managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
• Screen resumes and job applications, and conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates, prior to interviewing candidates for a wide range of roles
• Track recruitment metrics including time to hire, time to fill and source of hire.
• Maintain a database of potential candidates for future vacancies
• Develop and implement employee reward programs that recognize performance achievements.
• Creating and distributing employee opinion surveys, then compiling the survey results and making recommendations to the organizational department.
• Ensure that basic principles are met to ensure people’s satisfaction and compliance
• Listening to each individual in order to find and map what makes them happy, ensuring that everyone knows and appreciates what they are doing
• Create an enjoyable and positive work environment
• Initiate team building activities, retreats, and anything that increases team spirit. Enable people to increase emotional energy and satisfaction.
your qualifications
• Proven Experience as Recruitment, HR and Staffing Experience, Best in Startup
• Practical experience with the largest job sites such as Linkedin with familiarity with applicant tracking systems
• Strong knowledge of labor regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Strong negotiation skills
• Positive attitude, detail and business oriented with good multitasking
• Strong interpersonal skills with fluent English + Arabic
