* QA/QC inspector for painting.
* To manage entire site operations covering surface preparation, paint and coating application, and inspection of all paint applications with all necessary paint tools. Work responsibilities include:
• Attend weekly client progress meetings and assess the work fronts required to do the job.
• To supervise the job on a daily basis and progress, according to delivery schedules, as per the contract.
• Monitors QCP and method statements and ensures strict implementation of quality standards as per set standards and conducts quality audits regularly.
• Organizing the required tools and treatments and maintaining the optimum level to rearrange stocks and deploy the required manpower when required to the site.
• Responsible for monitoring all parameters during blasting and coating.
• Training new employees on spraying and spray painting techniques.
• Monitoring the contracts taken by the company.
• Suggesting painters and supervisors to maintain the required film thickness, as well as the blasting file, and to provide technical services at the sites.
• To take care of safety as well as occupational health and safety regulations and PPE for all employees.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in ship sandblasting surfaces in dry dock and workshop equipment: Provides with planning staff to ensure demand for equipment and materials.
Inspects work to ensure conformance to stipulated standards.
Training of new workers.
* Good background on scaffolding works.
* Paints inspector certificate.
* At least 15 years of experience. Worked as a paint inspector and supervisor for at least 10 years.

Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other build-up from surfaces.
Set up and operate a blasting booth or similar equipment.
Load and unload the blast locker.
Help paint or paint as needed.
Apply the non-skid material and remove it as needed.
Experiment with painting a variety of surface types.
