Manama, October 10 (BNA): The Ombudsman has received a delegation from the US Congress.
The delegation was briefed on the role of the Ombudsman in promoting respect for human rights in the work of the Ministry of Interior and correctional and rehabilitation centers in Bahrain.
The Deputy Secretary-General for Grievances, Ghada Hamid Habib, affirmed the office’s keenness to enhance transparency in its work, international cooperation relations, and communication with organizations and institutions interested in human rights locally and internationally.
