As a Night Shift Superintendent, you are required to perform assigned cleaning duties, achieve established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guest expectations regarding cleanliness of room areas, roomless areas, common areas and standards of backyard areas. The role includes looking after our guests overnight, assisting with lobby services, security, handover and cleaning.
What will you do:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, essential job responsibilities and functions include but are not limited to the following:
Regularly prepare each room for the turndown service and ensure that service standards are followed.
Replenish supplies and amenities for guests.
Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
Your experience and skills include:
– Ability to communicate fluently with our guests.
– Previous customer service experience an asset.
Ability to follow cleaning instructions quickly and accurately.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably including 5-star experience.
High fitness. This role has the physical demands of being lifted, carrying and being on your feet throughout the shift.
Understand the needs and expectations of luxury guests.
Professional and friendly attitude, with great interpersonal skills to easily build contact with both guests and colleagues.
Reliable, accurate with great attention to detail and willingness to move forward, ability to work well without much supervision.
Flexibility to work in varying shifts (day/night) including weekends and public holidays.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the public area, including food and beverage outlets, and the lobby area.
Assist the Night Manager in ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests and their property during their stay at the hotel.
Prepare food in the room during the night and deliver the food to the guests in the required time frame.
Clean rooms and customized service according to Sofitel reference standards.
Assist in the regular inventory of equipment.
– Assist guests with any requests for information or service they need.
Ensure high standards of property presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
Assisting in the provision and removal of foldable beds and cots.
