Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, SFD review progress of housing projects

Manama, June 10 (BNA): The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning held a series of meetings with a delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development to discuss the progress of implementing a number of housing projects funded by the Gulf Cooperation Council. program.

The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Asim Abdul Latif Abdullah, Director General of the Arab Countries Operations Department of the Social Fund for Development, Bandar Al-Obeid, and officials from both sides.

The Undersecretary welcomed the Fund’s delegation, praising their efforts in supporting housing projects that are being implemented under the umbrella of the development program for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

After that, the rate of progress in housing projects in terms of construction and infrastructure was reviewed.

Representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Social Fund delegation toured a number of housing projects.

The members of the Social Fund for Development delegation expressed their happiness at their cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and relevant government agencies, which reflects the depth of the long-term relations between Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
