Blast at explosives factory in Ankara kills 5 workers

Ankara, June 10 (BNA): The Turkish Ministry of Defense said in a statement that five workers were killed in an explosion that shook an explosives factory in the Turkish capital, Ankara, today, Saturday.


The explosion occurred at the MKE Missile and Explosives Factory, 40 kilometers outside of Ankara. Reuters quoted Ankara Governor Vasip Sahin as telling reporters that there were no more trapped workers waiting to be rescued or taken to hospital.
