Gulf Air celebrates inaugural flight to Türkiye’s Bodrum

Manama, June 17 (BNA): Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, held a celebration at Bahrain International Airport on the occasion of its inaugural flight to the Turkish city of Bodrum.

The ceremony was attended by Gulf Air CEO Captain Waleed Al Alawi and other members of the company’s executive management, as well as representatives of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and leading travel agencies.

Captain Al Alawi said: “The addition of Bodrum to our selection of summer destinations opens up exciting opportunities for Gulf Air and our customers. The city is brimming with history, culture and stunning landscapes, and is home to many famous beaches and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

He added, “With two flights a week from Bahrain International Airport, our customers can now experience this wonderful destination and all it has to offer for themselves. I thank our team members for helping make this new route a success and for their commitment to ensuring we provide a safe, reliable and comfortable travel experience for our customers.”

It was announced last week that this new route will be introduced to one of Turkey’s most popular tourist spots, along with several other leading summer destinations, adding to the airline’s growing network.
