Bahrain attends GCC-German conference

Berlin, June 20 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federal Republic of Germany, Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, participated in the fifth conference of the Gulf-German Security Dialogue.

The event was organized by the German-Arab Friendship Association in Berlin, in the presence of officials, legislators, diplomats, media professionals, and representatives of think tanks.

The ambassador also participated in a dialogue session entitled: “The Joint Agenda for Gulf-European Cooperation”, which focused on enhancing cooperation between the GCC countries and the Federal Republic of Germany in various fields.

He highlighted opportunities to enhance German-Gulf cooperation in the economic, trade, energy and environment fields, noting the importance of investing in joint relations to support stability and face the challenges facing the Middle East and the world as a whole.

During the conference, which discussed diplomatic cooperation and crisis management, the ambassador said, “Middle East security is an integral part of global security.”
