Manama, July 8 (BNA): The Information and e-Government Authority is hosting the second workshop on the priorities of e-government in the GCC countries, which will be attended by the entities concerned with digital government and information and communication technology in the Gulf countries. The workshop will take place from 9y up to 10y July 2023.
This event comes in line with the continuous coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and follows the recommendations of the first workshop. The aim is to continue the efforts of the GCC countries that support the Gulf e-Government Executive Committee’s vision and cooperation strategies.
The workshop will cover a range of topics, including reviewing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s experience in partnership between the public and private sectors. The workshop sessions will also shed light on national applications and platforms, in addition to a session on assessing digital transformation in GC C countries..
The Gulf workshop will also discuss unified government call centers, joint government systems, and data exchange mechanisms between the GCC countries. In addition, centralized payment services will be explored and there will be sessions to review the GCC countries’ experience with digital transformation in government services
