Manama, June 12 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1953.45 points, down by 1.97 points from the previous close.
This decrease is attributed to the decrease in the telecommunications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 731.11 points, recording an increase of 4.78 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 97 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 3,595,436, with a value of 919,216 Bahraini Dinars.
The results also indicated that 1010 sukuk transactions took place with a volume of 709,750 at a value of 695,887 Bahraini Dinars, representing 43.09% of the total value of traded securities.
Investors trade mainly in the financial sector, accounting for 27.35% of the total value of securities traded.
