New Delhi, July 16 (BNA): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League.
The meeting discussed several topics, including Indian diversity within the framework of the country’s national constitution and its civilized principles.
The Indian Islamic Cultural Center celebrated the delegation of the Muslim World League by organizing a lecture delivered by Dr. Al-Issa, in the presence of senior Islamic clerics in India, including muftis, scholars and clerics, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Dr. Al-Issa highlighted the essential features of Islamic values, and reviewed multiple models for their civilizational progress, building bridges of understanding and peace between civilizations, and strengthening friendship and cooperation between nations and peoples.
And he stressed that the Muslim is guided by his faith to understand the wisdom of God Almighty in human diversity.
He emphasized that the Islamic component in India is proud of its patriotism, state institutions, and affiliation with the Indian nation, stressing the need for religious awareness to promote understanding, coexistence, and cooperation with mutual appreciation and love.
