Manama, July 10 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out four joint inspection campaigns, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, in the capital, Muharraq, and the southern governorates.
The inspection campaigns included visits to a number of shops and work sites to determine the extent of compliance with laws and regulations in order to preserve the competitiveness, stability and productivity of the labor market. The campaigns resulted in reports of violations of labor market and residency laws. Cases have been referred for legal action.
The authority announced the implementation of two joint inspection campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate, the first in the presence of the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Governorate Police Directorate, and the second campaign in coordination with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation. criminal evidence.
The third is the Capital Governorate, in coordination with the Directorate of Execution of Sentences, and the fourth is in the Southern Governorate, with the participation of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations through the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.gov.bh or by calling the authority’s call center at 17506055. .
